Privacy Policy
ProfitHive Daily Brief. Last updated 14 October 2026.
ProfitHive Daily Brief ("the Service") sends you one short email each morning, built from your own
inbox and calendar: today's appointments, your priorities, the follow-ups that need you, and your single
highest-leverage action. This policy explains exactly what the Service accesses, how it is processed,
and what is and is not stored.
The short version. Each morning an automated AI model reads your recent emails and
calendar to write your brief, then keeps nothing. No person ever reads your email or
calendar. We never store the contents of your emails, your calendar, or the brief. The only
thing we store is an encrypted connection key, plus your email address, timezone and send time.
Who runs the Service
The Service is operated by ProfitHive (Kevin Bees), Australia. For any privacy question or request,
contact kevin@profithive.com.au.
What we access
- Email, read-only. Each morning the Service reads your recent emails, including
their contents, so the AI can judge what genuinely needs your attention. Access is strictly
read-only: the Service can never send, reply to, change, delete or move anything.
- Calendar, read-only. We read your upcoming events (title, time, location) to list
today's appointments. We never create, edit or delete events.
- No human access. Your email and calendar are read only by the automated process,
never by a person at ProfitHive or anywhere else.
How your data is processed
At your chosen local hour, the Service uses your encrypted credential to fetch that day's calendar and
recent email live. Those contents are sent to an AI model (Anthropic, "Claude") which composes your brief,
the brief is emailed to your own inbox, and everything is then discarded. This processing happens
in transit only. Your data is used solely to produce your own brief. It is never sold,
never used for advertising, and never used to train any AI or machine-learning model. Anthropic does not
retain API data and does not train on it.
What we store, and what we never store
- Stored: your email address, name, timezone and send hour, an on/off flag, and a
single access credential (an OAuth token for Google or Microsoft, or an app-specific
password for Apple) encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Never in plain text.
- Never stored: the contents of your emails or calendar, and no copy of any brief
after it has been sent to you. These exist only in memory for the few seconds it takes to build your
brief.
Google API Services Limited Use disclosure. The Service's use and transfer of
information received from Google APIs adheres to the
Google
API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data obtained through Google
scopes is used only to provide your daily brief, is never transferred to others except as needed to
provide the Service or as required by law, is never used for advertising, and is never used to train
generalised or non-personalised AI or ML models.
Third parties we rely on
- Supabase hosts the database that holds your encrypted credential and settings.
- Anthropic (Claude) composes your brief from that morning's email and calendar.
Processed in transit, not retained, never used for training.
- An email delivery provider sends the finished brief to your inbox.
Your control
- You can pause or stop your brief at any time by asking us to switch your account off.
- You can revoke the Service's access directly: for Google at
myaccount.google.com/permissions, for
Microsoft in your Microsoft account app permissions, and for Apple by deleting the app-specific
password at appleid.apple.com.
- On request to kevin@profithive.com.au we will delete
your stored credential and settings. Once revoked, the credential can no longer be used.
Security
Credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are stored, and the database is reachable only
by the Service's server, never from a browser. Because we store no mail or calendar content, there is no
body of message data at rest to expose.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date above.
