Terms of Use
ProfitHive Daily Brief. Last updated 14 October 2026.
These terms govern your use of ProfitHive Daily Brief ("the Service"), operated by ProfitHive
(Kevin Bees), Australia. By connecting your account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree,
do not connect.
In plain terms. Each morning the Service reads your own email and calendar,
read-only, and an automated AI model turns them into a short brief that is emailed to you. No person
ever reads your email or calendar. Nothing from your mail or calendar is stored. The only thing kept
is an encrypted key so the Service can connect for you, and you can revoke it at any time.
What the Service does
- With your permission, it connects to your email and calendar in read-only mode.
It can never send, change, delete, or move anything in your account.
- Once each morning it reads your recent emails and that day's calendar, and an AI model
(provided by Anthropic, "Claude") composes a brief of your appointments, priorities and follow-ups.
- The brief is emailed to your own inbox. That is the entire Service.
Your consent to AI processing (please read)
- You agree that, to build your brief, the contents of your recent emails and your calendar are
processed by an automated AI model (Anthropic / Claude) for the few seconds it
takes to write the brief, and are then discarded.
- No human at ProfitHive or Anthropic reads your email or calendar. Anthropic does
not retain this data and does not use it to train its models.
- This processing happens in transit only. Nothing from your mail or calendar is
stored by the Service at any point.
What is stored, and what is not
- Stored: your email address, name, timezone and send time, and a single
encrypted connection credential (an OAuth token, or an iCloud app password),
encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Nothing else.
- Never stored: the contents of your emails, your calendar, or any brief after it
has been sent to you.
Revoking access
- You can stop the Service at any time. For Google, remove access at
myaccount.google.com/permissions; for
Microsoft, in your account's app permissions; for Apple, delete the app-specific password at
appleid.apple.com.
- You may also email kevin@profithive.com.au to have
your stored credential and settings deleted. Once revoked, the connection can no longer be used.
Your responsibilities
- You confirm you are entitled to connect the account you provide.
- The brief is a convenience summary generated by an AI model. It may be incomplete or occasionally
inaccurate, so do not rely on it as the sole record of your commitments.
No warranty and liability
The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by
law, ProfitHive is not liable for any loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service, or
from anything contained in or omitted from a brief. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have
under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will update the date above. Continued use after a change means you
accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
